ABOUT ME

My passion for photography began when I was a teenager. I was fascinated by the ability of a camera to capture emotion, beauty, and moments that would otherwise pass by unnoticed. Although photography was my first creative love, life eventually led me on a different path, and I spent many years pursuing careers in fitness, nutrition, and wellness.

Years later, an unexpected opportunity brought photography back into my life. I was hired by Cashman Professional in Las Vegas as a wedding photographer. Through their highly respected Wedding and Event Photography training program, I received hands-on education and mentorship that helped shape my technical and creative skills. During this time, I also had the privilege of living with and assisting a fashion photographer, where I developed a deep appreciation for studio lighting and artistic portraiture.

I became captivated by the way light transforms a subject—creating mood, depth, and emotion. Classic lighting techniques, such as Rembrandt lighting, revealed the artistry behind creating timeless and expressive images. Watching light interact with a subject felt like witnessing magic unfold in real time.

As I reflected on the incredible opportunities and mentors that had influenced my journey, I realized photography was where my heart truly belonged. Determined to continue growing as an artist and professional, I returned to college and enrolled in the Commercial Photography program at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California, where I am currently earning my Associate of Arts degree in Commercial Photography.

My goal is to continue developing my craft, create meaningful and impactful work, and showcase my photography in exhibitions and galleries. Through fashion photography, fine art portraiture, professional headshots, weddings, and engagements, I strive to create timeless images that tell stories, evoke emotion, and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual I photograph.
